Interaction Designer - (MT13613)

Our industry-focused recruiters recognize your talent, know how to market your unique skills and can help you secure employment with these very selective corporations.PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES: Lead rapid design exploration, development and presentation of future software-based product concepts. Produce concepts and designs in realized forms (prototypes) through expert application of appropriate hardware and software tools (e.g., Illustrator, Photoshop, Flash, etc.). Determine product and system direction and interface requirements based on market and user research, technical constraints and strategic business goals and objectives. Create, develop and be accountable for the user interaction model, including workflows, architecture and guidelines for user interfaces. Work closely with internal and external development partners to ensure that design specifications are implemented accurately and integrate with existing framework. Support and conduct design and user research including: lab studies (e.g., prototype testing), field research (e.g., ethnography), user surveys, competitive product analysis, and latest industry & design trend research. Collaborate effectively as a member of the user interface design team.YEARS EXPERIENCE: 3-5 or more in interaction design (including software and hardware projects)DEGREE STRONGLY PREFERRED: Bachelor's Degree or Higher (Design, Human Factors, or related with equivalent experience)DESIRED COMPETENCIES/EXPERIENCE: Competency in appropriate software tools (CS2, Flash, etc.) Experience in advanced hardware and software interface and interaction design as demonstrated by a portfolio of relevant previous projects
