Integration Architect

POSITION OBJECTIVES:
•This person is responsible for implementing and successfully executing the worldwide integration strategy of the corporation for the Industrial Solutions business sector.
•This person is responsible for all aspects of the integration architecture, operations, and management of personnel in relation to all Industrial Solutions systems.
PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Responsible for the execution of the worldwide integration strategy for Industrial Solutions
•Responsible for the management, monitoring, and support of integration architectures and the core platform in Industrial Solutions
•Responsible for the management of personnel and 3rd Parties to implement new interfaces, maintain current ones, and debug issues
•Responsible for the development of personnel to support production integration systems, guided by project development methodologies, worldwide integration strategies and best practices.
•Responsible for educating business units throughout Industrial Solutions on the value of integration architecture, integration tools, and management of these tools
•Aid in the development and evolution of the worldwide integration strategy
•Work with business unit, sector, and shared services team members to aid in problem solving.
•Perform dual citizenship with other business units to leverage component knowledge base, best practices, and component reuse among sectors.
PROBLEM SOLVING:
•The person in this position will face many complex business process challenges that will require them to influence business leaders to support changes to current business process and their technology infrastructure. A business unit may have an order entry business process that spans multiple business systems, some automated and some manual. It will be the responsibility of this person to influence the business leaders to change their business process to gain the process efficiencies available by leveraging the best practices of business process integration.
•This person will be asked to implement best practices in webMethods integration, including business process automation, to support business processes that span multiple disparate business systems.
•The person in this position will face many complex business process and systems integration issues that may require research, collaboration, and creative thinking.
•This person will be asked to implement, and often design best practices in the webMethods environment while meeting the changing business needs of the client.
REQUIREMENTS
KNOWLEDGE:
•A minimum of three years work experience solving complex business process problems by leveraging business integration tools such as webMethods; at least two years utilizing webMethods integration solutions in a manufacturing environment. A sampling of in-scope business processes are:
oSupplier Integration
oCustomer Integration
oMaster Data Management
oProduction Facility Integration
•Experience with high levels of accountability; demonstrated initiative, flexibility, and ability to manage workload and achieve results with minimal supervision
•Experience in leading multiple projects and managing competing priorities
•Ability to manage conflict and change
•Strong interpersonal, verbal and written communications skills
•MUST be a team player
•Ability to build consensus with others
•Experience with workflow, Oracle ERP, Siebel CRM, EDI, and EDI Internet preferred.
FORMAL EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
•Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required (Master’s degree preferred)
•WebMethods Training and Certification strongly desired
MINIMUM YEARS OF EXPERIENCE NECESSARY:
•A minimum of three years hands-on experience implementing integration solutions.
•At least two years implementing webMethods solutions with demonstrated leadership in the implementation of business integration solutions in support of Supplier Integration, Customer Integration, Master Data Management, and/or Production Facility Integration.
•At least two years with direct management responsibilities
