Development activities will include participation in: Requirements development, Software design, Coding, Unit testing, Integration testing, Product test support, Deployment support.The successful candidate will design, develop, troubleshoot, debug, and implement software code (Java, C++, PERL) to support interactive and dynamically generate components of the organizations website. Works with other members of the project team to develop site concepts, interface designs, and the architecture of the web site. Job Requirements
Knowledge and Skills:Minimum of 3-5 years diverse application development experience with a minimum of 1-2 years recent web application development experience, preferably with high-volume, highly available customer facing systems. Critical technical skills include: Java, RMI, JSP, Servlets, JDBC. Important technical skills include: XML, HTML, JavaScript, UML, WebLogic, Linux, Apache.Must possess intermediate knowledge of Unix application development environments. Must be proficient in an object oriented C Syntax style programming language such as JAVA or C++. Must demonstrate an understanding of internet programming concepts such as CGI and Servlets. Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related discipline, or the equivalent in education and relevant development experience required.OTHER CRITERIAEmployer will not sponsor visas for position.There is no relocation available for this position.
