As an Instructional Designer, you will design, develop, maintain, and analyze business impact of Yum University (YU) college programs. Build strong working relationships with YU Deans and Support Person at the Restaurant Support Center and the Field (80 People), AutoDP, Mountain State, Peirce College and University of Phoenix YU Liaison (6 people),Yum Corporate Services/ Facilities Team (6 people), Yum University Participants (2000 people).

YU COURSE MAINTENANCE AND RE-DESIGN:

1. 60% Maintenance of YU College/Course. Lead the continued improvement and maintenance of Yum University Global Colleges and Courses. Work with subject matter experts on the revisions and maintenance of YU programs. Update, revise and implement YU Colleges and Courses throughout the year. Manage program content to ensure it contains up-to-date data, Yum One System tools and processes. Liaise with Yum Global Training and Brand Training Leaders to ensure alignment of Developing CHAMPIONS Modules and YU College/Courses. Manage electronic web-based library for all YU courses and 1 year history of paper library. Assist with the continuous improvement of YU Colleges and Course.

DESIGN EVALUATION and BUSINESS IMPACT:

2. 30% Business Impact Analyses. Identify, track, analyze, and report on business impact of key YU Programs. Prepare statistical reports that can be communicated to YU Team, sponsors, and executives as a means to quantify value of programs. Provide instructionally sound recommendations to VP YU, VP of PD and YU Manager on improving course design to improve retention and business impact, and create urgency in execution across the system.

3. 10% Collaborate with YU and Global Training Team members in meetings and projects to design and develop new College/Courses to increase business impact of new courses and existing courses.
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION:

BS or BA with emphasis in Human Resources Development, Instructional Design, or Training. Graduate level degree in same preferred.

EXPERIENCE:

-Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.

-Instructional Design and Development experience (4 years or more) for large-scale instructor-led management development programs at a major corporation.

-Experience in developing tangible, empirical relationships between training programs and improved business performance.

-Understanding of how various training programs interact with other related developmental tools.

-Evidence of strong organizational, planning and detail-oriented skills.

-Ability to work with remote teams/subject-matter experts and accomplish results.

-Ability to influence and communicate across various levels of management.

-Proficient in MS Office including Access, Adobe Acrobat and Adobe Illustrator a plus.
