Instructional Designer IV - Little Creek, VA

OCCUPATIONAL SUMMARY:
Develop course curricula and perform administrative tasks to support Navy Security Force (NSF) training programs by applying a comprehensive practical knowledge of available technology, methods, and techniques. The place of performance is NAB Little Creek, Norfolk, VA.

TYPICAL DUTIES:
•Development, review/revision of lesson plans
•Provide instructors with the definition and direction of training objectives
•Plan, analyze, design, develop, implement, and evaluate curricula
•Development, review/revision of trainee guides
•Ensure training plans are developed to implement approved concepts and alternatives
•Design instructional components and qualitative and/or quantitative performance measures for the assessment and improvement of complex training
•Utilize a variety of training products to provide learning solutions, e.g. formal curricula, ICW, job aids, and CBT CD-ROMs
•Perform ITRO curriculum management services
•Accomplish additional tasks as assigned
REQUIREMENTS
REQUISITE SKILLS:
•Positive past experience working with U.S. Navy curriculum development
•Positive past experience working with military instruction techniques or civilian equivalency
•Strong background in curriculum development and instructional management
•Experience in Navy training, instructor training, and Navy core values.


EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION:
Bachelors Degree in a related field and seven (7) years of experience or eleven (11) years of directly applicable experience.
