Do you have what it takes?Highly responsible position is currently available for an experienced Industrial Controls Designer. Develop functional designs and plan projects based on client specifications and project order entry; Includes preparation of schematic and panel layouts, material selection, cost control, and directing the manufacture of control panels & switchgear. Support Field Service department as required during start-up or trouble shooting of equipment in the field. Some travel may be required. Must have solid experience in the following:
-Power generation/emergency back up power
-AC motor control application, including VFD’s
-Soft starters
-Reduced voltage starting methods
-Group motor control centers
-Industrial logic controls
-Application of over-current protection
-Sizing and configuration of transformers power and control
-System metering
-Application of protective relay components.-Understanding of programmable logic controllers. Ability to do programming is required.* Education - BSEE or equivalent experience in industrial controls design.
