Key Objectives and Responsibilities:

Role of an individual in the organization who analyzes and designs content. They are responsible for building the information product models, element models, metadata, reuse strategies, and architectural models. They may also be responsible for designing the information retrieval for both authors and users.

Primary Responsibilities of this IT Enterprise Architect role may include:
Design the information architecture for an enterprise systems.
Collaborating with business analysts to understand business processes and identify information needs
Collaborating with development teams and project managers to design information structure and navigation flows and transformations for internet, extranet, and intranet sites as well as other applications

Developing guidelines for organizing and labeling topics, define the appropriate units of information, and identify metadata.
Developing taxonomies and XML schemas
Developing and revising information architecture documentation including but not limited to; information artifacts, site maps, user profiles, user scenarios, use cases, storyboards, wireframes, content matrices, content inventories, flow diagrams, and detailed functional requirements.
Presenting, clearly and concisely, various stages of the information architecture development to the client.
REQUIREMENTS
Education Requirement:
Four year degree in any business or technical area

Broad technical knowledge
Previous Managers experience.
Architected large systems
Experience developing data models and database schema’s
Design and development of multi-tier software applications experience
Experience with complete software development lifecycle (analysis through
deployment)
Extensively used MS SQL Servers as back end Database.
Experience leading data architecture teams and enterprise data models.
Experienced in database design, building business cases, using database
designer Tools and writing Stored procedures, Packages, Database triggers for
Oracle 7.x and
extensively worked on back end programming using PL/SQL
Solid Understanding of J2EE or .NET architectures
Solid Development knowledge in XML.
Experience building scalable, mission critical applications
Experience with a variety of business infrastructure systems (payroll, accounts
payable, accounts receivable, etc.)
Experience with Object Oriented methods
Strong problem solving and analytical capabilities
Excellent verbal and written communication, interpersonal, conflict resolution,
and customer service skills
Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high volume,
deadline-driven environment
Ability to balance multiple demands and work both independently and as part of
a team to develop solutions
Professional maturity in dealing with all levels of management and staff
Ability to understand customer needs and manage expectations
Excellent negotiation and organizational skills with ability to orchestrate
change through influence
Ability to adjust to multiple demands, address shifting priorities, and to
