IT Director

Classification: Full Time Compensation: $90,000 to $125,000 per year Robert Half Technology is recruiting an IT Director for a private investment company with multi-industry holdings. The IT Director will be responsible for IT dept of 5-7 and will need to interactive directly with executive leadership. Additionally, the role will involve the candidate to have a very strong infrastructure background. The roles of the position will involve:•Primary responsibility for establishing and implementing IT Strategy
•Supervise, direct and review the work of the IT Manager and monitor the training and development of all IT staff
•Work closely with the IT Manager to maintain a stable computing and telecom infrastructure
•Establish, implement and monitor IT policies and procedures
•Prepare an annual global needs assessment based on input from all users
•Establish and submit annual IT budget based on the needs assessment
•Manage the IT budget and other communication expenses of to improve efficiencies and reduce costs
•Responsible for maintaining all documentation, files and licenses related to IT
•Will act as Project Manager for all IT related projects, working with vendors to resolve any issues
•Prepare and submit monthly IT status reports
•Implement training programs for all users
•Perform annual inventory of IT assets
•Work with Marketing to coordinate the development of all company websites
•Oversee/approve the purchase of all IT equipment to leverage purchase consolidation
•Create various customized databases•Troubleshoot hardware and software problems as overflow of work occurs with the IT Manager
