Enterprise Architect- Salt Lake City, Utah (IS & T Architect)
Responsibilities:
Define and promote enterprise technology standards and strategies
Design and apply enterprise system and application solutions to meet business objectives
Support executive management and project teams in technology decisions and implementation of technology strategyRequirements:
Experience in diverse system and application design in large heterogeneous enterprise environments required.
Demonstrated knowledge of enterprise IT processes and service management (e.g. ITIL)
Demonstrated excellence in designing and implementing multi-tiered enterprise applications (J2EE, .NET etc.), EAI, and middleware (webMethods, MQ, or similar)
Experience in application analysis and design (OOA/D, design patterns, SOA)
Experience working in both Unix and Microsoft environments
Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication to all organizational levels required.
Information security experience a plus.
Ability to work independently and display creativity, exercise sound judgment, demonstrates initiative, and possesses excellent written and oral communications skills.
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret complex documents ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Banking experience a plus.
Mainframe experience a plus
Masters or Doctorate degree a plus.General InformationResponsible for designing and developing architectural systems and products. Acts as the highest level technical expert, addressing systems, software, integration and compatibility issues. Reviews major business application and technology initiatives. Works with clients to create an architectural baseline for solutions, sets required middleware and workflow. Works with lines of business and technology groups to get buy-in and understanding and coordination of systems across the business. Responsible for reviewing applications, workflow, systems and network management and network infrastructure for opportunities to improve effectiveness and efficiency. Responsible for project completions. May function as project manager. Other duties as assigned.IS &T Architect, - Typically requires a Bachelor's degree and 6+ years of directly related experience. Frequently contributes to the development of new theories and methods. Employs advanced knowledge of programming and systems analysis, IT architecture, system and architecture planning, project management and related applications.
