We sell to major hotels and retail chain Stores like Abercrombie & Fitch and KFC. Our 6,000 sq/ft facility is designed for fast pace custom lighting requests, which means we do a lot of prototypes and expediting of production.We are adding a lot of CNC equipment by the end of the year. We have grown from two people to 10 people in two years.Laid back environment and fun place to work. Very fast paced day. The company is very financially secure and is entering the next phase of growth which will include expansion in Sales and Engineering.We are looking for someone who is excellent at SolidWorks since this is our main CAD program. This individual will be responsible for taking a Sketch or product sample and turning it into something we can make. Will need to supply BOM, Vendor supplier lists, COGS estimates, Drawing package to our Production department.
This is a salaried position which means some weeks require over 40 hrs. But since your having so much fun you won't mind :)We work with everything, Glass, plastic, metal, exotic finishes, castings, wood Etc. You will always be challenged, its never boring around here.Good luck.

SOLIDWORKS experience a strong Plus(You will be tested at interview if you know program)
VERY STRONG COMPUTER SKILLS
VERY Strong organizational Skills
Very Strong knowlege of tools for prototyping. We make a lot of samples and you will need to get your hands dirty when required.One exception to the above requirements, IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE IN THE DECORATIVE LIGHTING INDUSTRY PLEASE APPLY, THAT IS A BIG PLUSMust know how to manage graphic images in a computer. We do a lot of cut and paste. Adobe , illistrator, corel.Outlook and excel a plus.
