Department Description: Our department develops embedded software for leading edge handheld communications devices. These devices are primarily targeted for the highly competitive consumer telecommunications market. Our work is leading edge and our environment is fast paced. The Systems Engineering & Architecture team is responsible for multi-generation architecture roadmap, end-to-end platform and product technical requirements as well as platform architecture and component specifications.

Responsibilities/Expectations: Provide systems engineering and architecture support to 4G programs and projects. Interface with key architects on the iDEN development teams and other external architecture and development teams^^

Knowledge Skills: Master Degree in Computer Science or Engineering with +10 years related working experience. Experience with managing, defining and developing architectures, systems, protocols, and application software for mobile, and home entertainment devices. Good written and verbal communication skills required. Experince in leading the design and development of high-quality time/performance-critical software applications and architectures.
