Will have responsibilities in the area of chiller design especially relative to custom designs, solving field problems and creating corrective designs, along with improving design for manufacturing. Improving design for mfg can accomplish cost reductions or product improvements. Also, will work with mfg relative to solving production associated design issues. Will have a leadership role in the implementation of product changes into manufacturing. Operation has excellent support skilled Pro Engineer designers; although if you enjoy and want to do some cad work you can.
One of the pluses to this position is diversity in design and problem solving. This is not a mundane job where you will be focused for weeks or months on end in one activity.
