Graphics Designer
Graphics Designer Job - Long term contract positions located in the Central US with a large company seeking Mapping Graphics Designer with ESRI-ArcGIS experience on Microstation or AutoCad. A minimum of a degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science or a related discipline, and have experience with GIS-based application design and development in a production environment. Experience and proficiency with ESRI’s ArcGIS (9.X) software suite including ArcMap and ArcSDE. A background in real estate or programming, though not required, is beneficial. Knowledge of other applications such as ArcPad, ArcIMS, AutoCAD, and Microstation would be advantageous. Experience with parcel mapping from legal descriptions, identifying and acquiring raster and vector data from outside (national, state, & county level) sources, creation of exhibits for property sales and leases, integration of CAD and other data sources, digitizing, geo-coding, data conversion, map production, and other GIS support as needed. Relocation is not available for this position. Apply if you are willing to relocate on your own for this long term contract position.
