Graphic Arts / Production Assistant

Position: Part time Graphics Arts/Production Assistant – Average 30 hours per weekLocation: Corporate Office - Waterbury ConnecticutThis position will focus on:Label changes/creation
Image, logo, artwork requests
Template flyers
Administrative issues: Purchase orders, quotes, etc.
Changing to existing layouts
Print and mock-up work for tradeshows and displays
REQUIREMENTS
Special Skills: Skilled in the use and application of diversified graphics and general applications software programs such as Photoshop, Illustrator, Quirk Express, Freehand, HTML, Adobe Acrobat, Internet Explorer and the Microsoft Work Suite.
Education Requirements: Bachelors degree in Graphic Design, Marketing or Information TechnologyQualifications:
Minimum 3 years related professional experience within the field of graphics design including the design and implementation of web based marketing technology systems
Demonstrated ability to effectively prioritize and plan work activities of self and other in the achievement of multiple projects to ensure the attainment of desired results and production deadlines
Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively with team members throughout the organization in the achievement of organizational marketing strategies
