Graphic Artist - PM Shift

Put your creative talents to work with The Post-Crescent. We currently have an excellent career opportunity for a graphic artist. Responsibilities include creation of and preparation of ads, flyers, promotion pieces, and special section sales pieces. Other responsibilities include interpreting sketches, artwork, past layouts and other elements to design ads; troubleshooting problem ads, including areas of font conflicts, picture usage and color issues.
REQUIREMENTS
Ideal candidates will be creatively skilled in Adobe InDesign, Illustrator and Photoshop, and QuarkXpress software utilizing Macintosh and PC’s. Also, experience with Flash is a plus. Must be committed to providing excellent internal and external customer service in a fast-paced and extremely deadline oriented work environment.

The scheduled hours for this position will work from approximately 4:00 p.m. to 12:30 a.m. five days a week.
