Senior Applications Developer (Mainframe)

Are you a mainframe developer looking for a place where you can apply your training in web-based technologies? If selected for this position, you will will contribute core IBM Mainframe (Cobol/CICS) development competencies in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment. You will wear many technical and functional hats--some of them even at the same time, on the same project. That includes cross-platform development in a team-oriented environment that encourages individual initiative. Must be amenable to XP development practices. Sound exciting? We think so!

Job Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in information management, business, or related field or its equivalent and continuing education related to the job.
3 to 5 years of related systems design experience with demonstrated achievements and progressive responsibilities.
5 to 7 years of systems development experience with demonstrated achievements and progressive responsibilities.
Expertise in IBM Mainframe technologies, to include Cobol, CICS and Z/OS. DB2 and VSAM are a plus.
Must have both interactive and batch development experience.
Additional development skills in any of the following technologies are highly desireable: a .NET environment, to include VS IDE; C#; XML, XSLT, XSD, and SOAP; and ASP.NET.
Additional skills in least one of the following development environments: OOA/OOD/OOP; Java, Eclipse IDE, J2EE and JSP; XML, XSLT, XSD, and SOAP; SQL Server, Oracle; Windows, UNIX or AIX, etc.
