Flash Expert

Reporting to the Associate Creative Director, the Art Director works closely with Senior Art Directors, Copywriters, Project Managers and web developers to conceptualize and design interactive graphical user interfaces and advertising. Art Directors will conceptualize, develop and maintain compelling online experiences while adapting to and building upon the distinct aesthetic style of the brand. Art Directors work closely with members of the traditional creative team to create integrated campaigns that extend the campaign in a manner appropriate for the online space. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
·Responsible for concept, design and flash based animations
·Handle projects from inception to completion
·Work with established advertising materials and guidelines
·Adhere to design integrity established by Associate Creative Director and/or Senior Art Directors
·Provide general, design and production assistance as needed
·On-going design quality assurance
·Keep up to date with current and emerging relevant trends in the online medium as well as cutting edge advertising concepts and techniques
REQUIREMENTS
·3-5 years experience in art direction and/or design
·Strong conceptual ability, design, layout, and typography skills
·EXPERT Flash and motion design skills
·Understanding of interactive design and usability techniques
·High visual standards and a desire to do great work
·Positive attitude towards projects and co-workers
·Strong design and image optimization techniques for broadband/flash
·Able to work in a fast paced, deadline driven environment
·Strong Flash, Photoshop, Illustrator and the rest of the Creative Suite
·Basic/Strong Flash action scripting
·Basic HTML
