Entry-level Systems Engineering

Design and detail custom products using AutoCad software. Work with engineering department to improve manufacturing productivity. Establish, maintain & oversee preventative maintenance program. Assist in capital equipment updates & purchases, performing cost justification studies. Perform project management duties, including but not limited to: Project scheduling & delivery, customer liaison activities, estimating,etc. Work with engineering department to standardize components and produce subsequent drawings. Perform various special projects and studies to increase company efficiencies. Evaluate areas & recommend solutions for continuous process improvements.
REQUIREMENTS
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering Technology. Strong oral and written communication skills. Good problem solving and trouble-shooting skills. Hands on approach (not a 100% desk job). AutoCAD experience a must. Basic computer skills (excel, word, PowerPoint, Misc Engineering programs). Apply and understand sound engineering principles. Print reading skills include ability to interpret print specifications such as material, dimensions, tolerances, notes, multiple part views, etc. Basic knowledge of electrical circuits and PLC programming.
