Engineers, Designers, E&I Manager, Others (Power, Petrochemical)
***MULTIPLE POSITIONS - please state position for which you are applying. PIPING DESIGNER Requires proficiency in Microstation, 3-D design, and 5+ years experience in the petrochemical industry. PDMS is a plus SENIOR PIPING DESIGNERS Requires proficiency in Microstation, 3-D design, and 8+ years experience (5+ years in a lead role) in the petrochemical industry. PDMS is a plus E&I DESIGNERS (ALL LEVELS) Requires proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, Excel and 5+ years experience in the petrochemical industry. Requires field measurements and occasional job site visits. Must be able to design power, lighting, grounding, loops, cable trays, layouts, conduit plans, single lines and MCC room layouts. Experience with Intools, Fisher Delta V and PDMS is a plus, but not necessary. SENIOR E&I ENGINEERS Requires NEC, NFPA knowledge, knowledge of Area Classification, ability to provide and/or review specifications for switch gear, MCC, VFD's and single line load studies. Requires undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Graduate degree is a plus. Must be competent with Word and Excel. Knowledge of the design process and exposure to Microstation and AutoCAD is a plus. STRUCTURAL DESIGNER 3+ years experience, AutoCAD and/or Microstation proficiency and heavy industrial experience, preferrably in the power, refinery, petrochemical or steel industry. E&I DESIGNER (Parkersburg, WV) Long-term Contract to potential direct-hire. Requires Microstation, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, 4+ years of Electrical & Instrumentation design. Chemical or Manufacturing plant design experience a plus. Associates Degree preferred. Develop to completion engineering drawings of complex areas of the project with little or no supervision. Work in accordance with established design practices, standards and procedures. Prepare complete engineering drawings in conformance with applicable codes and design criteria. Prepare complete information for design details, bill of material, etc. that can be completed by lower classified personnel. Check drawings supplied by vendors, clients and other discipline groups. Provide technical guidance and assistance to lower classified design and drafting personnel. May serve as Checker or CAD Specialist. Lead engineer; obtain understanding of assignments including special requirements and schedule for completion. Become thoroughly familiar with Drafting and Checking Procedures and applicable client and Project drafting standards. Verify all layout information is correct and current, and prepare drawings from engineering design sketches. Work may include manual and CAD drafting, checking and scrubbing. Prepare sketches for study and development purpose as required. Coordinate with counterparts in other disciplines as needed, keeping lead engineer/designer informed. Verify information is current on design sketches, vendor data and general arrangements. Help maintain filing system by keeping vendor data, flat files, stick files and drawing/checking files in order. Perform additional filing duties as assigned by squad leader. Check vendor shop drawings as assigned. Through lessons learned on projects, provide input to Department Quality Program, Standards and Procedures. ELECTRICAL POWER INDUSTRY, DEPT MANAGER Contract-to-hire (possibly direct-hire) This position requires 15-20 years experience in the industrial power, chemical or refinery industry and a Bachelors Degree in Engineering; P.E. is a plus. Must have strong electrical power experience. Manage a department of 10. Review and check work. Some business development. Must be able to interact effectively with clients. Limited travel is possible. SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER Candidate must have corn to ethanol process experience Basic Functions & Responsibilities: Supervises tasks of process engineering on studies, proposals, projects research and development. Needs no supervision for routine tasks Reviews work of other elementary level process personnel and has approval authority for most process technical documents. Usually acts as lead engineer on one large project or on several smaller projects, proposals, studies and is responsible for routine management of all technical and administrative functions. Capable of representing the department and company to clients. May be a technical specialist in such areas as fire and safety, environmental, unit operations, oil and gas, or specialty chemical engineering. Requirements: B.S (Ch.E) PE desireable. Requires 10 or more years, including proven leadership in process role as lead engineer of medium to large size projects. Reports to: Process Manager Additional duties will include: Process conceptual development, PFD & material balance development, P & IDs material requisitions, process calculations. The successful candidate must have corn to ethanol process experience, strong skills Excel, Word & Aspen..
