Requires Bachelors Degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering. Move projects on a timeline and be able to function on inter-disciplinary teams in a matrixed organization - lead by influence, not command. Chemical, power, pharma or refinery experience is sought. Prefer candidate with some EPC experience.
MECHANICAL/QUALITY ENGINEER(Direct-Hire)Perform welding inspections, have intimate knowledge of AWS and ASME specs and could be called upon for project management. Position Requirements: * BSME degree and 5 years experience. * Must have previous field work experience. * ASME Code, including ASME NQA-1 and ISO knowledge. Certified AWS weld inspector preferred. * Must be familiar with various metals, blasting, finishes & non-destructive testing. Knowledge of fabrication shops and field practices are desired. Familiar with blueprints & controlled documents. Experience as Internal Auditor. Excellent organizational and communication skills required to effectively deal with customers, both internal and external. Excellent computer skills required (Word, Excel, Project Management; Access database a plus). Problem-solving and analytical skills required Must be organized, a self-starter and have ability to prioritize work Occasional travel Report to Director, Quality Assurance. Position Summary: Implement and maintain Quality Management Systems for Power & Industrial business. Manage quality assurance subcontractor programs, including qualification process, audits, and iinspections. Support both ASME programs and NES endeavors. Provide assistance with management of projects as needed. Position Accountabilities Conduct audits and inspections at various vendors, subcontractors & internal audits. Qualify new subcontractors as quality suppliers. Issue certificates of conformance. Issue controlled quality documentation. Ensure satisfactory completion of various external audits: NUPIC, ASME recertifications. Resolve design/drawing discrepancies with Engineering Conduct field inspections as required Calibrate assigned instrumentation. Work with various departments/areas on resolution of CARs/ NCRs and Vendor Non conformances. Promote positive and safe work environment by demonstrating a positive, cooperative, and friendly attitude toward the job responsibilities, supervisors, fellow workers, customers, and visitors while following all safety guidelines and policies.
SENIOR PROCESS ENGINEER(Temporary-to-Potential Hire)Candidate must have corn to ethanol process experience Basic Functions & Responsibilities: Supervises tasks of process engineering on studies, proposals, projects research and development. Needs no supervision for routine tasks Reviews work of other elementary level process personnel and has approval authority for most process technical documents. Usually acts as lead engineer on one large project or on several smaller projects, proposals, studies and is responsible for routine management of all technical and administrative functions. Capable of representing the department and company to clients. May be a technical specialist in such areas as fire and safety, environmental, unit operations, oil and gas, or specialty chemical engineering. Requirements: B.S (Ch.E) PE desirable. Requires 10 or more years, including proven leadership in process role as lead engineer of medium to large size projects. Reports to: Process Manager Additional duties will include: Process conceptual development, PFD & material balance development, P & IDs material requisitions, process calculations. PIPING DESIGNERS Louisville, KYTemp-to-HireRequires 2+ years mechanical/piping experience. Prefer experience in Microstation. Knowledge of ASME Codes and product application is desired. Requires excellent analytical and computer skills, and written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills. Associate Degree in Drafting or engineering related field desired.
ELECTRICAL AND INSTRUMENTATION DESIGNERS (ALL LEVELS)(Temporary-to-Potential Hire)Requires proficiency in Microstation, AutoCAD, Excel and 5+ years experience in the petrochemical industry. Requires field measurements and occasional job site visits. Must be able to design power, lighting, grounding, loops, cable trays, layouts, conduit plans, single lines and MCC room layouts. Experience with Intools, Fisher Delta V and PDMS is a plus, but not necessary.
SENIOR E&I ENGINEERS(Temporary-to-Potential Hire)Requires NEC, NFPA knowledge, knowledge of Area Classification, ability to provide and/or review specifications for switch gear, MCC, VFD's and single line load studies. Requires undergraduate degree in Electrical Engineering. Graduate degree is a plus. Must be competent with Word and Excel. Knowledge of the design process and exposure to Microstation and AutoCAD is a plus.
