Engineering Technician

Sound Technology, Inc., a leading manufacturer of
high-quality medical ultrasound transducers, ISO 13485 and
9001-certified, recipient of the 2004 Pennsylvania
Governor’s Export Achievement Award and recipient of
the CBICC 2002 Technology Company of the Year Award, has
and immediate opening for an Engineering Technician in our
Advance Development department.
Responsibilities of this challenging position include building
protype and experimental transducers, running transducer
acoustic tests, conducting material acoustic and mechanical
property tests, managing the AD lab, and assisting production
development technicians when needed.
The ideal candidate will posses an Associated Degree or
equivalent and 3 to 5 years related experience. The ability to
use various measurement equipment, learn new and unique
processes, read prints, assembly drawings and schematic is
required as well as the ability to write reports and correspondence.
