PLC/ELECTRICAL PROGRAMMING ENGINEER

This Degreed Engineer must be able to provide programming solutions, implement design strategies for continued process efficiency improvements to achieve corporate production goals at the Raw Mills and Refiner. Support plant operations through troubleshooting of problems, training of plant personnel and provide programming solutions to operational issues. Must be able to investigate/develop and implement new technologies as it relates to plant systems and controls, provide technical input into strategic planning and maintain the plants’ automation systems and networks for raw mills and a refinery. Previous sugar experience preferred.



LEAD ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

This degreed Electrical Engineer must conceive and implement design strategies and provide engineered solutions for continual process efficiency improvements to achieve overall corporate goals. Able to write design specifications for multi-million dollar projects and provide technical input into strategic planning for the five year capital improvement/expansion project. This engineer must be capable of investigating, developing and implementing new technologies related to plant electrical and control systems. Will also provide technical and logistical direction to engineering design consultants during the design phase of multi-million dollar capital projects. This engineer will direct and supervise electrical and instrumentation contractors during construction of multi-million dollar capital projects and review electrical and instrumentation design drawings and strategies to ensure they meet USSC process requirements and provide a lead role in commissioning of new equipment and processes plus make recommendations and provide technical oversight of project change orders.



SENIOR ELECTRICAL PROJECT ENGINEER


This degreed Electrical Engineer must conceive and implement design strategies and provide engineered solutions for continued process efficiency improvements to achieve overall corporate goals, at the raw mills and the refinery. This engineer must support plant operations through troubleshooting of complex problems, training of plant personnel, and provide solutions to operational issues. He/She must support plant operations through troubleshooting of complex problems, training of plant personnel, and provide solutions to operational issues as well as identify training needs of, and implement technical training for plant personnel. This engineer must investigate, develop and implement new technologies related to plant electrical systems and controls. They must be able to provide technical input into strategic planning.
