Full Job Title: Engineer/S, Comm Systems Design Skills Management Title Comm Systems DesignJob Level: EXEMPTBusiness Component: Integrated Defense Systems (IDS)Job Description: Senior Communications Payload Systems Engineer will lead and mentor a team of experienced communications payload system engineers through the recurring phase of a satellite program. Solve technical issues while maintaining schedule and cost targets. Competencies 1) Technical Skills & Knowledge: Specific domain knowledge in microwave spacecraft communication payloads required. Expertise in requirements, performance, customer sell off and test required. Experience should include bent pipe communications systems, reflector and phased array antennas, low noise amplifiers, frequency converters, frequency reference systems, traveling wave tubes and high power microwave filters and transmission lines. DSP experience desired.
