JRI Industries is a leading original equipment manufacturer of solvent-free parts cleaning systems with products sold to Fortune 500 manufactures and the automotive industry throughout North America and internationally. The position would be at our corporate office located in Springfield, Missouri which includes engineering, design and production of our vast array of standard and custom designed parts cleaning systems.

An immediate position is open requiring a background in mechanical design with an electrical controls background. The position will be that of a Project Engineer, managing the design and manufacturing of cleaning systems from conception to installation at the customer’s site.

Following are the essential responsibilities and requirements of the position:

· Design and quotation of custom solvent –free cleaning systems (mechanical and electrical)

· Meeting State and Federal specifications and regulations relating to the specific application

Communication with customers, and internal personnel in meeting REQUIREMENTS
Requirements/Education:

Mechanical Engineering or related Bachelor Degree
Three years experience in mechanical design
AutoCAD proficient
Three years experience in managing multiple projects
Self motivated and self directed
Able to work with and develop team members
Ability to travel (limited)
Experience in the parts cleaning equipment industry preferred
Experience in fabrication of equipment using automation, conveyors, and monorails preferred.
