Engineer 4 - Stoughton

Position Summary: This position will involve providing technical assistance and support related to environmental permitting, compliance, and assessment. Specific job duties include, but are not limited to:

1) Preparation of environmental permit applications and related documents;

2) Attending meetings with clients and/or relevant regulatory agencies;

3) Providing guidance/mentoring to junior staff;

4) Performing technical and/information research in support of ongoing projects;

5) Manage smaller projects, as assigned by senior staff; and

6) Other technical duties, as assigned.



Candidates should be prepared to assist in a variety of other environmental projects, as needed.



Requirements:

Candidates must have, at a minimum, a Bachelor's degree in an applicable engineering or scientific curriculum, with a minimum of 5 years experience. Specific experience in multi-media environmental permitting and compliance, with an emphasis on waste and/or permitting is preferred.



Job Conditions/Environment:

Normal office enviornment with heavy, demanding workload. Heavy interaction with employees and job applicants. May require frequent overtime. Although the position is primarily based within an office setting, candidates must be able/willing to perform and/or oversee limited field activities, such as sampling and facility auditing. This could require the use of varying levels of personal protective equipment, depending on the nature of the site.
