Embedded System Engineer

Our client, a growing Phoenix, Arizona based technology organization, is seeking an Embedded Systems Engineer to lead development activities on embedded system development projects. We are looking for a candidate that is knowledgeable in all areas of hardware and software embedded development techniques, including current design, build, troubleshooting, and debug techniques. Successful candidates will also be familiar with common embedded design tools, CAD and layout tools, device programming tools and embedded compilers and debugger tools. Hardware skills include a good knowledge of embedded electronics components, circuit design and troubleshooting, and working knowledge of how to use a scope, logic analyzer, and data analyzer equipment to diagnose and fix electrical or circuit timing issues.

REQUIREMENTS
•3 or more years recent experience in embedded Java or C++ programming languages
•3 or more years experience in hardware design and troubleshooting
•Knowledge of embedded Java and embedded JVMs a plus
•Knowledge of ARM chips a plus
•Experience working with embedded cameras a plus
•Write and maintain interrupt and event driven code, multi-threaded programs, and/or device driver code modules.
