Electronic/Electrical Engineer

This position is responsible for the day to day management of the supply chain and inventory , including the functions of production scheduling, inventory control, and materials planning.


Specific Job Responsibilities:


- Increase productivity and profitability of the plant while maintaining high levels of customer service;

- Inventory management – accuracy, value, and utilization;

- Build to schedule – on time delivery

- Develop production plans based on forecast;

- Capacity planning – analyze and assess what impacts changes to orders and forecasts will have;

- Dotted line reporting of plant purchasing activities;

- Strategic partner as member of plant managers staff;

- Connect systems with shop floor activities;

- Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS


Job Qualification Profile:


- Bachelors degree in the fields of production management, supply chain management, or manufacturing;

- Minimum two years experience using with MPR systems;

- Minimum two years experience with forecasting and scheduling;

- Minimum two years supervising experience;

- Computer/systems literate (MS Office, Excel, Access, Word, PowerPoint, etc.);

- APICS certification is preferred;

- Experience in the automotive/truck markets is preferred.
