JOB DESCRIPTION:
Job Title: Electronic Design Engineer II
Department: ENGINEERING
Essential Function / Responsibilities:
The Engineering Department at Pyott-Boone performs engineering design in industrial electronics focused on advance monitoring and control systems as well as communication systems for mining applications. Specific applications include communications products and systems as well as sensors for monitoring all types of underground applications.
Desired Qualification:
• B.S. Electrical Engineering required as a minimum with 2+ years of experience
• Project lead experience – a plus
• Circuit and systems design and integration.
• Embedded software design
• Programming in Assembly, C, C++
• Schematic design entry – Protel and AutoCAD 2005
• Working knowledge of RS 232 and RS485

REQUIREMENTS
The position requires a minimum of a Bachelor’s Degree and ability to contribute immediately on projects. The candidate must also have strong communication and organizational skills.
