Electrical Design Engineer 4 (Aurora, IL)

Job Description

Electron Optics cathode design for x-ray tubes used in CT applications.
-Use electron optics modeling to create cathode designs to meet x-ray tube focal spot specifications. (Experience with Vector Fields-Opera software would be ideal)
-Verify and Validate Designs.
-Implement designs in production and track effectiveness.
-Document design requirements with engineering change notices.
Lead and support design project teams for new and existing products.
-Design electrical parts for x-ray tube products. Stators, Cables, Connectors, etc.
-Develop electrical or mechanical processes for x-ray tube products including some high voltage applications.
Support design engineering project files and product technical files to meet regulatory standards.
-Documentation for new product releases and existing project files.
-Support regulatory testing and engineering testing or products.
-Documentation for regulatory testing (FDA, IEC, CE, UL…) .

Experience with electron optics modeling.
Knowledge of Vector Fields – Opera software is ideal.
5 years experinece in a manufacturing environment.
