Education Manager -MSC

EK Success is an established leader in the Scrapbooking/Creative Consumer Craft Products industry. We are a rapidly growing organization, distinguished by our innovative product line and creativity. We are currently seeking an Education Manager - MSC

Job Summary: Responsible for managing educational requirements needed for the Martha Stewart crafts line of product. Responsible for MSC project sheets, classes, demonstrations, in-store & packaging instructional materials, trade show educational activities and project management. Regular meetings in the Martha Stewart offices located in NYC, familiar with NYC, be comfortable conducting research and development in the city and have familiarity with the fashion and craft industries. Travel required as needed.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Create high quality projects
Design craft projects using the Martha Stewart Crafts line of products.
Must be able to think dynamically and be prepared to create projects using digital artwork.
Write step-by-step instruction for each project
Write tips, tricks and techniques for each project
Develop project sheets
Manage the inventory project samples
Design and teach professional craft classes with dynamic class projects, step by step instructions, full color handouts and additional project ideas.
Conceptualize Make-It-Take ITs for consumer and trade shows. MITI creation will include step outs and additional project ideas.
Plan demonstrations for consumer and trade shows that will show the dynamic applications and uses of EK Success product.
REQUIREMENTS
2 years experience professional crafter
Familiarity with Martha Stewart style of crafting
Successful scrapbook/paper crafting teacher
Strong demonstration skills
Excellent communications skills
Exceptional customer care skills
Computer Literacy in Microsoft Office Suite
Competency in record keeping and document management
Strong supervisory, leadership and interpersonal skills a must
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to handle multiple activities or interruptions at once and to work positively and effectively within a team model.
