DESIGNENGINEERCornell Iron Works, a leader in the commercial rolling closure products industry, is seeking qualified Mechanical Engineers for our growing Design Department.
Design Engineers are responsible for the creation and development of product designs and redesign of parts and assemblies to ensure best value design cost. Will also assist in the evaluation of manufacturing processes to identify and help implement improvements to reduce manufactured product cost. To qualify, you should posses a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or Engineering Technology or equivalent experience. Candidates who have two to five years of experience in product design including production implementation will be preferred but we will consider recent Engineering graduates who are looking to build a career with a world class company. The successful candidate will demonstrate proficiency in AutoCad release 2004, and have extensive knowledge of materials, fabrication processes and the product engineering process.
