DoubleClick: Web Developer

Job Title: Web Developer DoubleClick develops the tools that advertisers, direct marketers and web publishers use to plan, execute and analyze marketing programs. Our focus on innovation, reliability and insight enables clients to improve productivity and results. DoubleClick’s Technology Organization is comprised of over 300 IT professionals, located in New York, Colorado, Chicago, San Francisco and Europe. Moreover, DoubleClick utilizes the Agile Methodology (SCRUM) for Software Development. Currently DoubleClick serves over 100,000 Ads per second and handles a staggering 8 billion transactions on a daily basis. Business / Application Environment: This group within DoubleClick develops Media Streaming Applications such as Interactive Ads, Video Games, Surveys, etc.
Job Description: Work within a team to develop Media Streaming Applications in an environment where the Engineering team is closely aligned with Business Units.
REQUIREMENTS


Role & Responsibilities:Design UIDesign Information Architecture
Develop applications using Flash, JavaScript, XML, XSL, XSLT and DHTML
Interact with External Clients
Participate in the Agile Software Development Process
Work with offshore teams to meet delivery deadlines
Minimum Job Requirements / Skills:BS in Computer Science or equivalent
3 to 5 years experience in building applications using Flash, JavaScript, XML, XSL, XSLT, HTML, DHTML and other development tools and technologies
Strong understanding of the Software Development Process
Experience on Windows and Macintosh Platforms

Optional Skills:Java, .NET, C#, AJAX, SQL
Knowledge of Web Browsers: IE, FireFox and Safari
Soft Skills:Strong client interaction skills
Strong written and spoken communication skills
