We are a leading engineering company in North Houston seeking a Development Engineer (experienced to entry level) to develop new oilfield tool products from conception to market by performing the following duties:

Support downhole product development by designing various mechanical components.
Manage engineering projects with minimal supervision.
Use software and hand calculations to perform analytical verification of product designs.
Coordinate the manufacture of prototypes.
Build and evaluate prototypes.
Generate drawings using Autocad.
Prepare routine reports and memos.
Sustain engineering.
REQUIREMENTS
BSME or Student working on a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Two to ten years of experience in mechanical design of oilfield service tools; entry level candidates with 0-2 years experience will also be considered
Competency with AutoCAD.
Professional documentation and communication skills.
Experience in downhole tool design is a plus.

Salary is commensurate with experience.
