Position Summary:


The Knitwear Designer is responsible for developing the line for USA Wholesale and Retail, Fashion, Lifestyle and Sport under the director of the Design Director for Calvin Klein Mens Sportswear.


Reports to:

Design Director for Knits, Sweaters and Outerwear


Other Key Relationships:

Design Team, Technical Design, Merchandising, Sourcing, Retail Buyers


Primary Responsibilities:
Responsible for the creative and technical aspects of the cut and sew knits category Contribute design ideas in the category of cut and sew knitwear for jeans related product for Calvin Klein retail stores Work closely with graphic artist to develop exclusive graphic Tee programs Assist with the creation and development of color, concept presentation boards Responsible for the creation and maintenance of style packages and seasonal design books Attend all fittings Participate in color, knitdown and style approvals Trend research with design team
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications
