Belimo is a world leader in the design, manufacture and marketing of damper actuators and control valve assemblies used in commercial HVAC systems.

Belimo is seeking a Designer/Drafter to support its Made to Order (MTO) production facility.

This position is responsible for reviewing drawings and designing special modifications to existing assemblies, machinery or parts.

The Designer/Drafter works with the MTO staff to ensure products are assembled in accordance to specifications.
REQUIREMENTS
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

•Maintain and update directory of AutoCAD drawings and determine appropriate drawing for desired application.
•Ensure effective and efficient assembly of all MTO products and modify assembly process as necessary.
•Plan assembly schedule by reviewing SAP data and daily MTO priorities.
•Train current and new employees on all MTO assemblies and procedures ensuring assembly per drawing specifications.
•Follow and maintain ISO procedures and SOP’s for all MTO products and processes
•Assist machinist in fabrication of special parts and assemble.
•Follow Engineer change management procedures.
•Perform field testing and consultation as necessary.
•Inspect supplier parts to ensure quality specifications.
•Extensive communication interactions with internal customers and supporting departments (Customer service, Outside Sales ,Engineering, Product management, purchasing , IT)

Requirements:

•Associate's degree in a related field of study.
•2-5 years of experience in drafting/AutoCAD.
•Knowledge of commonly-used concepts, practices, and procedures within an assembly field.
•Ability to communicate in a professional demeanor both in writing and verbally.
•Ability to deal with time constraints and deadlines.
•Self motivated, sense of urgency, detail oriented.
•Software skills in MS Office, SAP, Label View/Code Soft and AutoCAD.
