Designer - Accessory Systems

Business Unit: GE Infrastructure, EnergyFunction: Engineering/ Product DevelopmentResponsibilities: -Design Structural and Piping Systems, and Accessory Systems for NPI gas turbines with world-class safety, reliability and install ability in compliance with applicable codes (e.g. ASME, PED).
Apply Unigraphics CAD software to design systems following NPI Tollgate Process working with engineering to applying lessons-learned from global design teams in Italy, France and the United States.
Create Bill of Materials and drawings for NPI gas turbines.
Oversee global drafting work given to global drafting suppliers.
Work with Engineering to identify and qualify vendors.
Improve design process for CAD design through process improvement and automation.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications: -Minimum 5 years Design Experience with Gas Turbines or Process Piping Systems.
Minimum 3 years Experience in Unigraphics or equivalent Software.
High School Graduate.Desired: -AS Technical degree (Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or Drafting).
Familiarity with GE Drafting Practices and Procedures.
