Job DescriptionPosition Summary:Prepares drawings and sketches using CAD workstation and appropriate design criteria and technical manuals. Ensures conformance with applicable codes and standards, as well as company policies and procedures. Works closely with engineers to ensure coordination of design. May utilize 3D methods. Will use various civil engineering design software packages, including surface topographic modeling. Will also have periodic field assignments during installation/construction phase for oversight and troubleshooting.Requirements:High school diploma with a minimum of 5 years of civil engineering related design experience, with a demonstrated increasing knowledge of technical discipline, as obtained through education, work experience or a combination thereof.Job Conditions:Typical work environment consists of office or project field setting with constant deadline pressure. Designer 2 - Houma
