Design - BSEEEssential Functions/Major Responsibilities:
1.Designs and develops new products and optimizes or redesigns existing products as required.
2.Constructs and tests passive and amplified (active) prototypes of new and existing antennas. Performs impedance matching, antenna pattern and gain measurements, amplifier gain, noise figure, bandwidth, linearity, and all other electrical tests needed to ensure performance to specification.3.Reviews specifications provided by OEM customers, and through direct customer interface, assists in reaching product design objectives.
4.Participates in product cost reduction analyses.
5.Sources materials for prototypes and assists Manufacturing in the purchase of appropriate materials for production.
Specific Job Skills:
Personnel with product design responsibility must be competent to achieve design requirements and be skilled in applicable tools and techniques.•Geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T)

•Computer-aided design/engineering (CAD/CAE) - Solidworks
•Product-specific knowledge (strength of materials, electrical property of materials, electromagnetic radiation propagation, etc.)
Education:
Bachelors of Science in Engineering
