Design Manager II - E52

Position Responsibilities: Responsible for every aspect of electrical and instrumentation design on the project, including directing a large (15+person) discipline design team. Functions include planning and scheduling work and staffing needs, assigning lead roles., evaluating performance, and counseling assigned personnel
As Electrical Design Manager, will need to prepare design criteria, provides accurate estimates of drawings and resources, provides technical interface activities necessary to complete design deliverables per project requirements.
Will required to apply project design requirements to the electrical design including the NEC and various IEEE standards for design of Class 1E electrical/instrumentation systems for nuclear generation facilities
Required Qualifications: Candidates shall have significant instrumentation/electrical design experience with a minimum of 20 years of electrical design experience on power plant or large industrial facility projects. Must be fluent with the use of Microstation. Intimate knowledge of the National Electrical Code (NEC). Basic computers skills in Access, Word and Excel. Capable of performing raceway fill, and cable sizing calculations. Knowledge of IEEE 384. Familiarity with NRC regulatory guidelines for class 1E systems is preferred.
Desired Qualifications: AS Degree in Electrical Engineering or Engineering Technology. Working knowledge of INTOOLS and EDISON (cable routing program) and DOE "L" Clearance a plus
