Senior Auditor

Responsibilities:Performing financial, operational, and compliance audits across a wide array of business areas and markets including planning, detail testing, and final report issuanceParticipating in Sarbanes-Oxley compliance effort by facilitating key document preparation, detail controls testing, and evaluation of control effectiveness in association with key process owners throughout the companyAssisting department management in performing “report follow-up” of management action items resulting from past auditsInteracting regularly with senior managementSupervising and managing staff from co-source internal audit provider on select audit projects to execute audits and other projects in compliance with department protocols and methodologiesParticipating in fraud investigations (as needed) in response to incoming Compliance Office activity. Assignments will be performed under the direction of the Vice President of Internal Audit and in accordance with professional standards and department protocolsStrong business sense, professionalism, and an innate desire to grow as an individual are keys to success in this challenging position
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:Bachelor’s or MBA degree in Accounting, Finance, or related discipline2 to 4 years of experience in internal or external audit or business risk consultingKnowledge of internal controlsStrong analytical, interpersonal, and communication skillsAbility to work independently and in a team environmentBig 4, CPA, and telecommunications credentials preferredWillingness to travel up to 50%
