The Data Conversion Specialist works with the data conversion team extracting, converting, and implementing a variety of data into Caselle software applications.Duties:
Converts customer data files of new and existing clients into readable, convertible, accurate data for use in financial applications software systems.
Creates custom mappings in Data Junction & Monarch software applications to import client data.
Manipulates customer source data through designated conversion parameters.
Analyzes and summarizes client data, translates the data into the correct format and runs edits on the data, then loads this data accurately into Caselle software applications.
Verifies and audits work with software application product managers to ensure timely and accurate results.
Reports status of all projects to Implementation Department Manager.
Must be able to work with changing priorities and deadlines, in a fast-paced environment.
REQUIREMENTS
Qualifications:Strong understanding of relational databasesAdvanced MS Access skillsSQL skillsData extraction, transformation & loading experience valuableDetail-oriented and able to handle multiple priorities with tight deadlinesAble to communicate with highly technical, and non-technical people effectivelyExperience with Data Junction & Monarch is a plusAccounting or financial knowledge also a plusAbility to create, improve, and implement efficient processes
