Aware seeks a qualified candidate for the position of DSP Firmware Engineer to develop C and assembly firmware for Aware's DSL solutions for high-speed wireline communications.

Job Responsibilities

Responsibilities cover all design and development aspects of a communication system, from signal processing and communication algorithms to management channels, state machine logic, and performance testing.


REQUIREMENTS
Master's degree in EE or CS
Experience in real-time embedded programming a plus
Strong debugging skills
Experience with hardware/software integration and testing
Good communication skills and the ability to interact and work with customers
Strong background in digital communications and digital signal processing

Experience with communication algorithms, such as equalization and coding, as well as communication protocols, such as ATM and HDLC, is a plus. Experience with the management of telecommunication networks is also a plus.
