JOB DESCRIPTION:
* The .NET Developer will focus on designing and implementing a new web-based data processing system.
* The scope of this project is to re-engineer an existing system in favor of newer .net technologies with increased functionality.
* Must be able to visualize and explain vision and plan to individuals who might not be technical.
* Must be able to work and brainstorm with colleagues to develop one sound client vision.
* Skilled in Rational Unified Process methodology
REQUIREMENTS
Education:
BA or BS in a technical field, preferably Computer Science or a related field.

Required Skills:
* At least 2 years experience using ASP.NET and VB.NET.
* At least 3 years experience in developing web-based systems for Microsoft platforms
* Strong technical skills in ASP.NET, VB.NET, SQL Server, and Transact-SQL
* Commitment to excellent and high standards
* Good written and oral communication skills.
* Ability to interact and collaborate effectively with internal and external team members to assure needs are met.

Desired Skills:
* Ability to validate requirements, manage system design, implement ASP.NET pages and VB.NET components, and participate in system deployment
* Experience in creating high quality, attractive design for websites and in creating the look and feel of the overall site and/or specific content areas
* Experience in establishing and/or maintaining security protection controls
* Ability to conceptualize creative concepts
* Experience in both SQL Server 200 and 2005
* Good organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills
