Creative Manager Position will design and manage group of designers who are responsible for all visual design, design standards, marketing communication and online brand for shopnbc.com. Working closely with Creative director to oversee creative projects, and is responsible for the overall quality of work produced by the creative department. Manages/designs creative projects from concept to completion and translates marketing objectives into creative strategies. Leads and directs the creative team in the production of internet and all external marketing collaterals, information organization and design.Success Attributes:
Self motivated individual with the ability to handle multiple projects, problem solving, excellent sense of prioritizing in a fast-paced environment: with superb attention to detail. Have the ability to work under tight deadline. The individual should have a collaborative approach and leadership quality to direct group of designers with strong communication skills.Essential Functions:
Designs hands-on concepts for all customer marketing communication and Shopnbc.com projects
Work closely with creative director to define project and business goals design needs.
Ability to take lead on projects and work independently.
Execute project concepts in a timely manner.
Make sure concepts follow objectives outlined in creative brief.
Create compelling designs that are within brand standards.
Follow through on every project from beginning to end, with a high degree of communication.
Works with cross functional team members to deliver and integrate creative/technical/information architecture solutions
Help to improve the quality and efficiency of the department by maintaining technical standards.
Stay aware of competitive networks and latest innovation solutionsRequirements:
Bachelor's Degree (BFA/BA) in Art with a concentration in design. Minimum 5-6 years graphic/art/web design experience required.
5 years of agency experience with knowledge of ecommerce and retail required.
Demonstrated ability to conceptualize and execute multi-channel campaigns required.
Strong Macintosh/PC computer skills, including a thorough understanding of graphics applications (Illustrator, Photoshop, and Dream weaver, Flash, Fireworks, In Design and Quark Xpress) Web knowledge and basic HTML required.
