We are a leading owner/operator of health and fitness clubs in the Northeast. We are looking for a Creative Director.

The Creative Director...

Plans and oversees the creative execution of all marketing campaigns, including print advertising, online and direct marketing, websites and sales collateral.

Realizes the brand vision through strong concepts and executions – and establishes a consistent corporate image throughout all promotional materials and events.

Manages a small creative team, ensuring the quality of their work across projects and accounts while tending their career paths. Spreads expertise, passion and innovation throughout the team.

Contributes to the overall development of the marketing plan through the development and support of new strategies, initiatives and marketing tactics.

Leads design related meetings, interprets and captures internal client needs, and presents design solutions to internal clients.

Maintains an awareness of status and project deliverables of all discipline group members' project work.

Takes responsibility for all creative projects and proactively pursues ways to ensure that project objectives will be met.

Contributes to the communication, demonstration and evolution of the quality standards of the creative product to clients.
REQUIREMENTS
Skills Sought: Minimum of 7-10 years experience

Current design portfolio covering a range of print advertising/marketing, online and direct mail

Knowledge and understanding of user experience, usability, and user centered design

Proven ability to manage a multi-disciplinary creative team

Bachelor’s Degree in design, fine arts or communications –Master’s degree is a plus

Ability to take a project or client’s needs from concept to production

Ability to review creative work designed by external agency/free lancers/junior marketing employees to ensure quality of design, adherence to design guidelines, and consistency with other design elements

Attention to detail and ability to learn new techniques

Strong leadership skills

Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Strong time management and creative resource management capabilities.

Has demonstrated ability to direct and multi-task effectively under pressure.
