Computer Support Technician

Mathematica Policy Research, Inc., a nationally recognized social policy research firm, is currently seeking an entry-level Computer Support Technician in our Princeton, New Jersey headquarters.

Duties of the position:

Install PCs, printers, and other peripherals
Install PC-based software packages on staff computers, such as Microsoft Office and SAS
Maintain backup and hardware/software inventory
Support Windows 9x/NT/2000 operating environment

REQUIREMENTS
Bachelors degree in Computer Science and one year of experience, or a combination of equivalent education and experience, is required.
Familiarity with installation and troubleshooting of PC hardware and software
Experience with PC support, Microsoft Office 2000, and Windows 2000/XP Professional
Must be able to follow directions and work well in a group environment
