Pointcarre, a leader in the computer aided design for apparel and textile industry, is looking for a CAD Support Specialist. We provide CAD solutions at all levels for surface design. Easy to use software is available for wovens, textile prints, knits, embroidery, jacquard, dobby and photorealistic rendering. Pointcarre is known for the amazing quality of the fabric simulations produced in our CAD design. We offer technical interfaces from our software to manufacturing facilities to provide the fastest and most accurate data transfers available.
Duties:This person will train and support current and new clients in the use of Pointcarre Software*They will train both in house or at customer sites
*They will also assist in the demonstration of the software in sales demonstrations along with testing new versions of the software
*The person should have knowledge of the fashion industry and have some technical weaving experience*Knowledge of print and knit design would be a plus*
REQUIREMENTS
*Training of current and new clients
*Traveling to customer sites for both training and sales demonstrations*Participating at trade shows Testing new versions of software *Telephone support*Knowledge of woven structures (Dobby & Jacquard)
*Any CAD experience preferred
