Compliance Engineer

Challenging position provides leadership of compliance projects involving industrial and oil drilling instrumentation and controls. Will provide design guidance to engineering staff on electrical safety, electromagnetic compatibility, hazardous location equipment compliance requirements, and pressure vessels.

Responsibilities will include direct contact with North American, European Union, and other international regulatory and testing authorities in efforts to achieve world-wide product compliance.
REQUIREMENTS
Requires BSEE or BSME degree and 5 years design experience.

Additional desirable experience includes electronics or mechanical design, European electrical safety compliance, support of EMC testing, familiarity with devices for use in flammable atmospheres (i.e. intrinsically safe, explosion proof, purged), and pressure vessel compliance. (EOE)
