SRCTec, Inc., a wholly owned subsidiary of Syracuse Research Corporation, seeks a Manufacturing Engineer for this start-up manufacturing organization with significant business backlog.

SRC's Systems Technology business area develops and integrates some of the most significant and exciting radar and communication systems for the U.S. military. One such system, the Lightweight Counter-Mortar Radar (LCMR), received the "Army's Top 10 Inventions" award. SRC offers a comprehensive benefits package including three to four weeks vacation to start, 10% employer contribution for retirement, and 100% college tuition. Today, SRC's family of companies employs more than 750 people and has 11 offices across the country.

The Engineer will be responsible for the design/analysis/test of advanced RF or wireless communications and electronic warfare systems. Duties will also span architecture development and analysis through integration and test; performing trade studies, system analysis & simulations; creating requirement and design specs; performing simulations; and supporting customer presentations, as well as resolving technical issues. Will work closely with design teams to ensure system requirements are met.

Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, computer engineering, math, or physics is required, a Master's is preferred. Must have practical working experience with RF/wireless communication or electronic warfare system(s). Solid Matlab and C/C++ experience a plus. Familiar with digital signal processing algorithms techniques and related technologies. Strong skills in mathematics and physics. Must be an excellent technical writer capable of capturing complex ideas and concepts in technical reports and documents.
