Mission:
Lead the Communication and Interior Design team to ensure IKEA’s position as the best home furnishing store in your local market by strengthening our Vision, Business Idea, and identity.Goals:
Implement the IKEA Concept and Range Presentation the IKEA Way.
Ensure all graphic communication supports the IKEA identity and current corporate branding strategy.
Maintain strong relationships with Sales and Logistics functions to maximize sales and create efficiencies.
Provides solutions for living that reflect current trends in design and demographics.
Support and promote the use of the work brief process.
Employ cost effective, safe and environmentally friendly solutions and working methods.
Attract, develop, and inspire co-workers by realizing the Human Resource Idea.
Create an environment where the IKEA Culture is a strong and living reality that embraces the diversity of co-workers and customers.
Assume responsibility for other tasks and projects as they occur.
REQUIREMENTS
You Have:
Proven management and leadership abilities.
In-depth understanding of the IKEA concept and philosophy.
Excellent communication skills.
Strategic, analytical and tactical abilities.
Highly developed knowledge of interior design and home furnishing trends.
Ability to quickly develop in-depth knowledge of local market demographics.
Computer literacy including AutoCAD.
3-5 years IKEA Com&In management with build-up/remodel experience or
5-7years Interior Design/Visual Merchandising management experience.Your Workplace:
High Volume, fast-paced retail environment.
Occasional domestic and international travel.
